The Dogon people of Mali are one of Africa's most unique societies. From their homes in the Bandiagara cliffs to their intricately carved wooden sculpture to their unique interpretation of the universe, the secretive Dogon intrigue and enrapture the world.
These wooden doors are hand carved by Dogon artisans to secure their granaries. The figures and designs carved into each door correlate to Dogon rites of passage and familiar societal themes. Each is a work of art and an express privilege to own. Display stand included. Two sizes available, designs will vary.
