I have been with Swahili since January of 2008 and I love it here. Not only do I work with some awesome individuals, I am surrounded by so many wonderful African products. The workmanship of each item is amazing. You can see the love and care every artisan has put into each product they have made. Knowing that the income generated from the sale of our products helps so many artisans in Africa provide the essentials for their families is beyond words. It is very exciting to see all the new products as they come in. Knowing that my job makes a difference to hundreds of people is the most rewarding part of the work I do each day. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my kids, grandkids and enjoying the beautiful Oregon scenery.
