Hired initially as a day laborer to help unload a container, Jess demonstrated such great work ethic and attention to detail from the start that Leslie asked him to come back for a few more days of work. Ten years later, he's the backbone of our packing team.

You can set your clock by Jesse's arrival and departure each day, and he never misses a day of work unless he's really ill, which is a rare occurrence. Jesse has cycled to work every day during his ten years at Swahili--rain or shine--always reminding us all that human-powered transport is a viable option here in the Pacific Northwest that we should all utilize.
