After years of working in huge corporations and being a faceless cog in a massive nameless wheel, coming to work in the intimate environment of Swahili was a breath of fresh air.
For the first time in my life I actually respect and believe in the company I'm working for, and in this day and age of malls, and chains, and corporations, it seems like a harder quality to come by.
Knowing that Swahili cares not only about its product, but the hands and hearts and land from which they are bred, is not only admirable and endlessly pleasing, but it's reshaped my view on how business should be done.
