Our tranquil Peace Sculptures are hand carved by Gusii artisans living in the lush highlands of western Kenya. Soapstone mining and carving serve as one of the main incomes for many families in the Kisii Town area, who often sell their unfinished forms to producers throughout Kenya for finishing.
