After working with Kenyan artisans for nearly 15 years now, we've become quite confident that Kenyans can convert any material into art.

 

These beautiful little pieces of functional African art are hand carved from cow bone collected from local butchers. The bone is cleaned, bleached, carved and then dyed using a "batik" process. Delight your dinner guests by placing a salt well and toothpick holder at various stops around the table, or really give them something to talk about by placing a set at each plate.
