One of the beautiful things about the traditional Bamana textile known widely as mudcloth is its ability to really pop when paired with contrasting fabrics. We work with a group of talented needle artists who creatively extract portions of a cloth based on their particular suitability to the item at hand.

This chic runner offers a slender panel of mudcloth sandwiched between cotton jacquard in ochre and cream tones. A fringe of sand cast beads adds a little weight to the ends of the runner and gives the piece true West African flair.
