Our Masai Mara decorative soapstone line offers the fiery tones of a savanna sunset complemented by bold patterns borrowed from African textiles. Central to each piece is the giant of the savanna, the African elephant.
 
Gusii artisans in Kenya's highlands hand carve each bookend from soft soapstone. Found in vast deposits in the Kisii District, the stone in known locally and abroad as "kisii stone".

These sturdy bookends are boldly patterned, but have great appeal to people of all ages.
